Community Guidelines
Standards for content and behaviour on USOVAI. These guidelines apply to all creators and viewers.
Respectful participation
USOVAI is a platform for creators and viewers who share an interest in AI audiovisual work. Treat everyone with respect. Disagreements about creative choices or AI practice are part of a healthy community — personal attacks and harassment are not.
Illegal content
Content that is illegal in the jurisdiction where USOVAI operates is prohibited. This includes content that infringes copyright, depicts illegal acts without artistic or documentary purpose, or promotes or facilitates criminal activity.
Hate, harassment and discrimination
Content that attacks, demeans or incites hatred against individuals or groups based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or disability is not permitted. This applies equally to AI-generated portrayals and to written commentary.
Sexual exploitation
Content that is sexually exploitative or that depicts non-consensual sexual activity in an approving manner is prohibited. Explicit sexual content requires appropriate age-gating and content warnings; it must involve only clearly adult characters. AI-generated explicit content depicting real persons without their consent is prohibited.
Minors
Content that sexually exploits, endangers or depicts harm to minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to relevant authorities. AI-generated characters who appear to be minors must not be depicted in sexual, violent or exploitative contexts.
Violence and extremist content
Graphic violence presented without creative, documentary or narrative purpose is not permitted. Content that promotes, glorifies or recruits for violent extremism, terrorism or mass violence is prohibited regardless of claimed artistic intent.
Dangerous behaviour
Content that depicts or instructs on dangerous activities in a way likely to encourage real-world harm — including self-harm, dangerous challenges or instructions for creating weapons — is not permitted.
Fraud and impersonation
Do not impersonate other creators, public figures or USOVAI staff. Do not submit others' work as your own. Do not use the platform to conduct fraud, phishing or scams.
Copyright infringement
Submit only content for which you hold the necessary rights. Do not republish others' work without permission. If you believe your rights have been infringed, use the Copyright & Takedown process.
Privacy violations
Do not share private information about real individuals without their consent. This includes personal contact details, private images and information obtained without authorisation. AI-generated content that depicts real, identifiable people must be clearly disclosed as synthetic.
Misleading synthetic media
AI-generated content designed to deceive viewers into believing they are watching genuine documentary footage of real events, or that attributes false statements to real people, is prohibited without prominent disclosure. Creative fiction and satire involving real figures must be clearly labelled as such.
Spam and manipulation
Do not upload duplicate content, use artificial means to inflate view counts or follows, or engage in coordinated inauthentic behaviour. Automated interaction with the platform without USOVAI's permission is prohibited.
Reporting
If you encounter content or behaviour that appears to violate these guidelines, use the platform's reporting feature or contact us via the Contact page with the Safety Report category. Reports are reviewed by the USOVAI team. False or bad-faith reports are themselves a violation of these guidelines.
Enforcement
USOVAI may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features or suspend accounts in response to violations. The severity of action reflects the nature of the violation. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination without prior warning.
