Sword Speed

I create original animated short films, characters, and worlds inspired by anime, cyberpunk, science fiction, and the unforgettable visual language of late-80s and early-90s Japanese animation. My work explores everything from quiet character-driven stories to brutal cybernetic battles, strange dystopian cities, forgotten heroes, and worlds where humanity and technology are becoming increasingly difficult to separate. I use traditional filmmaking and storytelling principles alongside emerging AI creative tools to experiment with what independent animation can become. Every project is an opportunity to explore cinematography, character design, world-building, sound, pacing, and new ways of bringing ideas to the screen. Some films are standalone experiments.
